Curl Junkie Coffee CoCo Curl Creme

 I did this twist updo using Curl Junkie Coffee CoCo Curl Creme. I washed my hair and only applied this product, since it states it is an all in one product. I wore my hair like this for two days and took it down today!

As you can see by my facial expression NOT HAPPY with the results.

 This product left my hair really dry and without any weight. I'm wondering if I layer it with my Dalu butter if I will get a better twist out. I am going to try this product again by rewetting my hair and setting it in twists again. Let's see what happens!!!

SEARCH FOR THE PERFECT TWIST OUT

Like many naturals I struggle with having a good twist-out. 

Not perfect, not great just a good twist -out.  And as you can see from the pics...the search continues!   : )

Twist out

This is what the twist out looks like and you can see how the ends are rolled up on perm rods.

I purchased these rollers at Sally Beauty Supply  it's about 10 rollers in a pack $1.99-$2.99

Once my hair is dry I take out the rollers and undo the two strand twist and get the results you see in the next photos. Doing the bigger twist only took me 2hrs.

Length Check

Length check. You see the very ends of my hair with the curl and how thin they are that is the last of the wedding relaxer of 2005. I will have them clipped in Dec.

Twist out using new products

This twist-out was done with Samy Big curls curl definition creme, Goldwell curltwist conditioner and Marc Antony Strictly curls antifrizz balm. The ends of my hair were curled with perm rods. I did big twists this time approx. 12 with a flat twist on the front. I did not like the products because it left my hair frizzy, the style did not last more than a day before I lost definition in the hair.
